We are The Senior’s Choice, the largest network of independent businesses that offer high-quality, in-home, assisted living for the elderly. We provide what is known as companion care for seniors so they can remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. We assist the elderly with meal planning and preparation, errands and incidental transportation, laundry, light housekeeping, and many other needed tasks.
We are seeking caregivers who are warm and compassionate people and who love working with the elderly. You must be caring and patient. The hours are flexible and can be part-time. We are also looking to fill some full-time and live-in positions. Our clients require a minimum of 3 or 4 hours service each time a caregiver visits, so you would need to be able to work at least 3 or 4 hours at a time. We will do our best to get you as many hours a week as you’d like, whether it be with one client or more. You do not need to be experienced or licensed. We supply training.
You do need to have:
• A valid drivers license
• A clean driving record
• An insured, reliable car
• Compassion and love for seniors
We cannot hire you if you:
• Have a criminal record
• Have a recent history of drug or alcohol abuse
• Carry a communicable disease such as tuberculosis
Prior to hiring caregivers, we require health certificates and we run thorough background checks.
Our hourly rates vary, depending on the area of the country you live in, the type of care being rendered, the time of day, or night that care is given, and the experience of the caregiver.
