DEEP THOUGHTS: BY STEVE EVERHART

The very top Members of TSC consider themselves “leaders.” Often times we think of ourselves as employers and as business owners, but perhaps not as leaders. Have you ever asked anyone what they do and had them say “I am a leader.”?

Our top Members ask themselves everyday “am I working on things that are going to get me the results I want in my life and in my business?” They know exactly what their wildly important goals are by setting clear, specific, written goals for each important aspect of their business. They also have very clear time lines and built in rewards and consequences associated with each goal.

They keep punch lists of projects and prioritize the projects weekly and make sure their employees are in step with their goals and priorities. They do the most important things first and the least important things never.

And lastly, they have a sense of “urgency.” The top folks somehow always come through. You can count on them to deliver day in and day out. They do what they say they are going to do with no exceptions, no excuses! This sense of urgency is infectious and creates momentum. I believe in streaks and momentum and your clients and caregivers will feed off your energy, excitement and enthusiasm and want whatever you have to offer.

Proactively yours,

Steve
